Groundwater Protection Services can offer you a thorough, detailed and cost effective Service Inspection for your wastewater system to allow you meet the service requirements of your discharge licence issued under Section 4 of the Local Government (Water Pollution) Acts 1978-1990.

We also provide maintenance services for on site waste water treatment systems for single houses.

Full Maintenance and Compliance Support Service

We also offer a full maintenance and compliance support service is tailored, to your individual Discharge Licence to assist you in meeting the conditions of your particular Licence and thereby avoid potential enforcement proceedings. This annual service is broken down into routine tasks and irregular tasks.

Polishing Filters and Percolation Areas.

We can supervise the construction of polishing filters and percolation areas, and certify that the polishing filters and percolation areas have been completed in accordance with the appropriate planning permission.

Septic Tank Inspections.

Inspection of septic tank and percolation areas to ensure compliance with the lastest standards.

Site Suitability Assessments.

We have been appointed to the Clare County Council panel to carry out Site Characterisation Assessments for Wastewater Treatment. Site suitability assessment’s are carried out in accordance with the guidance set out in the EPA (2010)Wastewater Treatment Manual: Wastewater Treatment Systems for Single Houses. This is then followed by the selection of a suitable wastewater treatment system, which is dependent on the site conditions determined during the site assessment.
